I began traveling at a young age, after being born abroad while my father was stationed in Germany. I’ve always enjoyed summer vacations with my family as a child. We would alternate having family reunions on the west coast in Southern California then back to Texas. Eventually they grew to family and friend events, and we started booking summer cruises. My first cruise was in 1977. I’ve always enjoyed seeing some of the same things I’ve learned about and seen in books, in real life. The Grand Canyon, The Eiffel Tower, white sand beaches and turquoise waters are a few of my favorites.
